The Song of the Blood-Red Flower is a romance novel by Finnish writer Johannes Linnankoski, published in 1905. It is his most famous and personal work, loosely based on the legend of Don Juan. The story follows a young log driver who charms women. The novel received the State Prize for Literature in 1906 and an award from the Finnish Literature Society. An English translation by W. J.
