About “The Torrents of Spring”
The Torrents of Spring is a novella written by Ernest Hemingway and published in 1926. It was his first long work and served as a parody of Sherwood Anderson's Dark Laughter. The story was written as a humorous critique of the literary world and was subtitled "A Romantic Novel in Honor of the Passing of a Great Race."
