Judson Daniel Elliott III worked as a Time Courier, a job that involved taking tourists to historic events. He followed the rules carefully to avoid meeting himself or interfering with history. However, his strict adherence to the rules was challenged when he met a passionate Greek in Byzantium. This encounter led him to break the rules and become involved with the past. His actions set off a chain of events that altered his family history and changed both his past and future. The story explores the consequences of breaking the rules in a time-travel context.
