About “Winner Take Nothing”
Winner Take Nothing is a 1933 collection of short stories by Ernest Hemingway. It is his third and final collection of stories. The book was published four years after his novel A Farewell to Arms, which came out in 1929. It was also released a year after his non-fiction book about bullfighting, Death in the Afternoon, published in 1932. The collection includes several stories that explore themes common in Hemingway's work, such as masculinity, war, and personal struggle. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
