About “Winter kills”

When President Timothy Kegan is shot in a Philadelphia motorcade, a presidential commission identifies a lone psychopath as the killer. Fourteen years later, Tim's half-brother, Nick, discovers through a deathbed confession that Tim was the victim of a mysterious conspiracy, prompting Nick to investigate the real assassin while encountering figures from the oil industry, film, law enforcement, organized crime, the CIA, and labor unions.
