About “The Chase”

The narrator finds herself unexpectedly drawn to Colin Fitzgerald, a tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing roommate who thinks she is flighty and superficial and is buddy-buddy with her brother. His best friend has a crush on her, and she has just moved in with them. Fitzy insists he's not interested, even though sparks between them threaten to burn the house down.
