About “Casca: The Liberator”
Casca: The Liberator is a historical fantasy novel in the Casca series created by Barry Sadler in 1979. The story centers on Casca Rufio Longinus, a Roman legionary who is cursed with immortality after driving the Holy Lance into the side of Jesus Christ on Golgotha. As punishment, he is destined to wander the Earth as a soldier until the Second Coming.
