About “Casca: The Persian”
Casca: The Persian is a historical fantasy novel in the Casca series by Barry Sadler, first published in 1979. The story follows Casca Rufio Longinus, a Roman legionary who is cursed with immortality after driving the Holy Lance into the side of Jesus Christ on Golgotha. As punishment, he is destined to wander the Earth as a soldier for eternity, awaiting the Second Coming.
