About “Full Fathom Five: A Novel of the Craft Sequence”
On the island of Kavekana, Kai builds gods for clients, who then take responsibility for maintaining them. Her creations are not conscious but serve as protectors for their worshipers. When one of her gods dies and Kai tries to save it, she is severely injured and removed from her work, labeled unstable. After growing tired of being called crazy, Kai investigates why her creations die and discovers a hidden conspiracy of fear and silence. She must uncover the truth before it destroys her.
