Four: A Divergent Collection is a book containing five short stories from the Divergent trilogy, written by Veronica Roth and told from the perspective of Tobias Eaton, also known as Four. The first story, Free Four: Tobias Tells the Divergent Knife-Throwing Scene, was released as an e-book on April 23, 2012. The second story, The Transfer, came out on September 3, 2013. The third, The Initiate, the fourth, The Son, and the fifth, The Traitor, were released on July 8, 2014. On the same day, a collected edition of all five stories was published under the title Four: A Divergent Collection, which also includes three exclusive scenes.
