The Other Wind (2001) is a novel by Ursula K. Le Guin. The sorcerer Alder fears sleep, dreaming of the land of death and his wife who died young and longs to return to him. The dead are pulling Alder to them at night, and through him they may invade Earthsea. Alder seeks advice from Ged, once Archmage, who tells him to go to Tenar, Tehanu, and the young king at Havnor, joined by the dragon-woman Irian, to confront the threat in the Immanent Grove on Roke.
