About “A red death”
In 1953 Red-baiting, blacklisting Los Angeles, Easy Rawlins is out of the hurting business and into the housing business when a racist IRS agent charges him with tax evasion. FBI Special Agent Darryl T. Craxton offers to bail him out if Easy agrees to infiltrate the First American Baptist Church and spy on alleged communist organizer Chaim Wenzler, and that is when the murders begin.
