Federalist No. 80 is an essay written by Alexander Hamilton, part of The Federalist Papers. It was published on June 21, 1788, under the pseudonym Publius, which was used for all Federalist Papers. The essay is titled "The Powers of the Judiciary" and is the third in a series of six essays that examine the powers and limits of the judicial branch.
