About “Day Before the Revolution”
An aging woman named Laia Asieo Odo, the philosopher whose ideas inspired the anarchist revolution central to The Dispossessed, spends an ordinary day reflecting on her life, her losses, and the movement she founded. The story takes place on the eve of the uprising her work set in motion.
