About “The Naama War”
The Naama War is a novel by Charles R. Saunders, an American-born, Black Canadian author and journalist and a pioneer of the "sword and soul" literary genre through his Imaro novels. Saunders was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Canada to avoid the draft, living first in Ontario and then Nova Scotia, where he worked as a civil servant and teacher.
