About “Conan the Freebooter”
Conan the Freebooter is a 1968 collection of five fantasy short stories featuring the sword and sorcery hero Conan the Barbarian, written by Robert E. Howard and L. Sprague de Camp. The stories originally appeared in the magazine Weird Tales during the 1930s and were later compiled into the omnibus collection The Conan Chronicles in 1989. The book has been reprinted multiple times and translated into several languages, including German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, and Japanese.
