About “The Stone Monkey”

Lincoln and Amelia are assigned to track a cargo ship holding two dozen illegal Chinese immigrants and the human smuggler known as the Ghost. When the operation fails, they must stop the Ghost from killing two surviving families who have disappeared into New York City's Chinese community. Over the next forty-eight hours, the Ghost hunts the families while Rhyme works with a Chinese police officer to locate them. Sachs, meanwhile, builds a connection with one of the immigrants, which affects her relationship with Lincoln. The story follows their efforts to prevent deaths and uncover the truth.
