Murder Must Advertise is a 1933 mystery novel by Dorothy L. Sayers, the eighth in her series featuring Lord Peter Wimsey. The story is set in an advertising agency, a setting Sayers knew well from her own experience as an advertising copywriter until 1931. The novel was recognized as one of the top crime novels of all time, ranking 22nd in a 1990 survey by the Crime Writers' Association in Britain.
