Set in Lyra, the world of Shadow Magic and Daughter of Witches, this tale involves a twisted tower hidden in the Windhome Mountains where something is imprisoned, bound by a wizard's spell so it can never escape. Kayl, who has seen the tower and left the Sisterhood of Stars to live a quiet life, is confronted by a sorceress and a wizard demanding she take up her sword again as something evil leaks from the Tower.
