About “The Interlopers”
The Interlopers is the twelfth novel in the Matt Helm spy series by Donald Hamilton, first published in 1969. It is part of the middle period of the series, which began in 1960. At about 80,000 words, it is longer than the first four or five books but shorter than most of the later novels from the 1980s and 1990s, which often exceeded 100,000 words.
