About “Lecture Demonstration”
"Lecture Demonstration" is a science fiction short story by American writer Hal Clement. It was first published in 1973 in Astounding: The John W Campbell Memorial Anthology. The story takes place on the planet Mesklin, which is also featured in Clement's novel Mission of Gravity. However, this story is set in an earlier time, during the establishment of a college by Terrestrials. At this stage, both the teachers and students are still in the process of learning.
