About “Kiss Me, Deadly”
Kiss Me, Deadly is a 1955 American film noir directed by Robert Aldrich and based on the 1952 crime novel of the same name by Mickey Spillane. The film centers on a private investigator in Los Angeles who becomes involved in a complicated mystery after encountering a female hitchhiker. It was written for the screen by Aldrich and A.I. Bezzerides, and features Ralph Meeker in the lead role alongside Albert Dekker, Paul Stewart, Juano Hernandez, Wesley Addy, Maxine Cooper, and Cloris Leachman in her feature film debut.
