The Whispering Statue is the fourteenth book in the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series. It was written by Mildred Wirt Benson, who is often regarded as the most authentic of the ghostwriters for the Carolyn Keene pseudonym. The original version was published in 1937 by Grosset & Dunlap.
