Navarone Books in Order
Navarone is a World War II adventure series beginning with Alistair MacLean's 1957 novel The Guns of Navarone, about an Allied commando mission to destroy German guns threatening a British naval evacuation in the Aegean; MacLean followed it with the 1968 sequel Force 10 from Navarone, and after MacLean's death Sam Llewellyn wrote two authorized continuation novels in the 1990s. All four novels were later collected in a 2008 HarperCollins omnibus, The Complete Navarone.
