About “New Writings in SF 26”
New Writings in SF 26 is an anthology of science fiction short stories edited by Kenneth Bulmer. It is the fifth in a series of nine volumes he edited, following the original series created by John Carnell. The book was first published in hardcover by Sidgwick & Jackson in August 1975, with a paperback edition released by Corgi in 1976. The stories in this volume, along with those in volume 29 of the series, were later compiled into the omnibus anthology New Writings in SF Special 2, published by Sidgwick & Jackson in 1978.
