About “New Writings in SF 29”
New Writings in SF 29 is an anthology of science fiction short stories edited by Kenneth Bulmer. It is the eighth volume in a series of nine that Bulmer edited, following the original series created by John Carnell. The book was first published in hardcover by Sidgwick & Jackson in November 1976, and a paperback edition was released by Corgi in 1978. The stories in this volume, along with those from volume 26, were later compiled into the omnibus anthology New Writings in SF Special 2, also published by Sidgwick & Jackson in 1978.
