Sassinak was 12 when raiders captured her. At that age, she was old enough to be useful but young enough to be broken. Unlike other slave girls, Sassinak was strong, spirited, and had a friend among the captured Fleet crew. She refused to accept her fate and escaped when the opportunity arose. Later, she became a Fleet captain with her own ship, dedicated to chasing pirates. Her only regret was that there were not enough pirates to catch.
