About “Demodocus”

Demodocus is a dialogue attributed to Plato. It was included in the Stephanus edition of Plato's works, published in Geneva in 1578. The text survives but is now considered a forgery. Scholars believe it was written by a late sophist or rhetorician, likely after the mid-fourth century BC. Most modern scholars do not consider it a genuine work of Plato.
