Eryxias

About “Eryxias”

Eryxias is a Socratic dialogue attributed to Plato but considered spurious. It takes place in the Stoa of Zeus Eleutherios and includes a conversation between Socrates and three other figures: Critias, Eryxias, and Erasistratus. The dialogue reflects the style of Plato’s works but is not regarded as a genuine contribution from his hand.
