About “Unusual uses for olive oil”

Professor Dr Moritz-Maria von Igelfeld, author of Portuguese Irregular Verbs and a respected member of the Institute of Romance Philology in Regensburg, faces a series of personal and professional frustrations, including the rise of his rival Detlev Amadeus Unterholzer, the tediousness of the librarian Herr Huber, and the condescension of his colleagues about his unmarried status. When his friend Ophelia Prinzel attempts to improve his situation by introducing him to a cheerful heiress who owns a Schloss, the professor's long-standing challenges appear to be nearing resolution.
