About “Ramona's World”

Ramona Quimby is excited for fourth grade, believing it will be the best year yet. She has calluses from swinging on the park rings, a classmate she calls Yard Ape, a teacher who praises her writing, and a new baby sister named Roberta. She also makes a new friend, Daisy. However, Ramona faces challenges, including improving her spelling and being a good role model for Roberta. Her mother wants her to spend time with Susan, whom Ramona finds unpleasant. Ramona struggles with her responsibilities and feels pressure from her older sister, Beezus, who is seen as responsible. Despite her failures, often leading to funny situations, Ramona finds support from family and friends. She learns that being imperfect is okay.
