About “High Rhulain”

Young Tiria Wildlough, an otter maid marked by Destiny, embarks on an epic adventure that begins at Redwall Abbey and takes her across the Western sea to the Green Isle. There, she is destined to fulfill an ancient prophecy and claim her inheritance. The Green Isle is home to the Otterclans, who face threats from the Wildcat Riggu Felis and his catguard masters. Tiria teams up with two birds and a group of Long patrol hares, as well as the outlaw Leatho Shellhound and his Otterclan. The story features feasts, fighting, riddles, and quests, following Tiria as she strives to become the chosen one—the High Rhulain. This 2005 novel by Brian Jacques is part of the Redwall series.
