Triss, a squirrelmaid enslaved by the evil ferret King Agarnu and his daughter Kurda, plans an escape by sea. At the same time, three young companions leave Salamandastron in search of adventure. In Mossflower Woods, two Dibbuns find the lost entrance to Brockhall, the home of the Badger Lords. Triss arrives at Redwall, where the abbey's inhabitants discover a new champion—someone brave enough to carry the sword of Martin the Warrior and confront the evil threatening them all. The story brings together three groups of travelers through fate. This is a 2002 novel by Brian Jacques.
