About “Tied Up in Tinsel”
A Christmas pageant turns unholy when Troy Alleyn is invited to paint a portrait at Hilary Bill-Tasman's manor estate. Along with other eccentric guests, he attends the Druid Christmas pageant. During the festivities, one of the pageant's players disappears into the snow. The suspect list includes the hired help, all of whom are paroled murderers from a nearby prison. Inspector Roderick Alleyn joins his wife to investigate the missing man and uncover the truth behind the holiday mystery. The story is a 1972 novel by Ngaio Marsh.
