About “Without Remorse”

John Kelly, a former Navy SEAL and Vietnam veteran, is grieving the accidental death of his wife when he befriends a woman with a troubled past. When her past catches up to her in a violent way, Kelly seeks revenge, using his skills to track down those responsible. At the same time, the Pentagon recruits him for a mission to rescue prisoners from a North Vietnamese camp. Kelly, now code-named Mr. Clark, must balance his personal mission with the military operation. He faces dangerous enemies both in the U.S. and abroad, and his success could determine the lives of many, including his own. The novel explores how men become dangerous and the unexpected threats they pose.
