Sam and Remi Fargo, a husband-and-wife team, are asked by an archaeologist friend to help excavate a secret historical site. Their discovery leads them on a search for the hidden tomb of Attila the Hun, who was said to have been buried with a large fortune of gold and jewels. The trail takes them through Hungary, Italy, France, Russia, and Kazakhstan, revealing that there are five tombs rather than one. Along the way, they face competition from amateur treasure hunters, a Russian businessman, and a Hungarian man who claims to be a descendant of Attila and is determined to claim the treasure for himself. The Fargos must navigate these challenges to uncover the truth.
