About “Sharpe's Eagle”
During the 1809 Talavera campaign in Spain, Richard Sharpe and his riflemen are attached to a poorly led English battalion whose arrogant colonel despises Sharpe's common origins. When a battalion's colours are lost in battle, Sharpe sets his sights on seizing a French Imperial Eagle standard to restore honour and prove his worth.
