About “Dead ever after”
Sookie witnesses the firebombing of Merlotte's, the bar where she works. Sam Merlotte, the owner, is known to be two-natured, so suspicion falls on anti-shifters in the area. However, Sookie suspects a different cause and teams up with Sam to find the real culprit and uncover the motive behind the attack. At the same time, Sookie is troubled by the actions of her lover, Eric Northman, and his child, Pam. She realizes they are planning to kill the vampire who is their master. As she becomes more involved, she discovers the plot is more complex than she initially understood.
