About “Altered Carbon”
Altered Carbon is a 2002 cyberpunk novel by Richard K. Morgan. The story is set in a future where people can transfer their consciousness between bodies, known as "sleeves." The main character, Takeshi Kovacs, is a former U.N. elite soldier who now works as a private investigator. He is hired to look into the death of a wealthy man.
