The Best Science Fiction of the Year #7 is an anthology of science fiction short stories edited by Terry Carr. It is the seventh volume in a series of sixteen. The book was first published in paperback by Del Rey Books in July 1978. A hardcover edition with a slightly different title, Best Science Fiction of the Year 7, was released by Gollancz in November 1978.
