About “La sombra del viento”
In 1940s Barcelona, young Daniel Sempere is taken by his bookseller father to the secret Cemetery of Forgotten Books, where he chooses a novel by the obscure Julián Carax. When Daniel learns that a shadowy figure has been hunting down and burning every copy of Carax's work, he sets out to uncover the author's fate, drawing himself into a decades-old story of love, betrayal, and murder.
