Star Wars: The Han Solo Trilogy is a trilogy of science fiction novels set in the Star Wars universe. It was written by Ann C. Crispin and released in three parts: June 1997, October 1997, and March 1998. The books are considered non-canon, under the Legends designation, and focus on Han Solo's life before the original Star Wars trilogy. The author confirmed that she did not include Han's time in the Imperial Academy or his first meeting with Chewbacca, as requested by Lucasfilm. These events were later shown in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story. The trilogy provides an early exploration of Han Solo's background within the Star Wars narrative.
