About “The secret of the caves”

The Hardy boys are drawn into a mystery after a brilliant young professor disappears. They start at Kenworthy College, where they find a strange message on an exam. With the help of their friend Chet Morton and his metal detector, and their buddy Biff Hooper, they uncover a clue that leads them to the Honeycomb Caves. A hot-tempered hermit guards the caves, making the investigation more challenging. Meanwhile, their father is investigating suspected sabotage at a radar station near their hometown of Bayport. As the mystery deepens, the boys face dangerous situations, including a stormy ocean patrol. They eventually find a powerful searchlight in a cave, revealing a startling secret.
