The Nancy Drew Files, also known as the Nancy Drew Case Files, is a detective fiction series that began in 1986 and was published by Simon & Schuster in New York. It is a spin-off of the original Nancy Drew novels, with a stronger focus on adventure, mystery, and romance. All books in the series were written under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene. The series is aimed at readers aged eleven and older. Over 11 years, 124 titles were released, with a new book coming out almost every month. More than 17 million copies have been printed, and the books have appeared on bestseller lists from Publishers Weekly, B. Dalton, and Waldenbooks.
