Pathfinder is a 2010 novel by Orson Scott Card. Rigg, who can see the paths of any living being, loses his father and learns he has a sister he never knew of; the ensuing journey with his friend Umbo leads to arrest, an assassination attempt, and the discovery that his father was an ancient robot and that jewels he carries unlock other Wallfolds on the planet Garden.
