Darren O'Shaughnessy is an Irish writer who writes young adult fiction. He is known for his series The Saga of Darren Shan, The Demonata, and Zom-B. These books were written under the pseudonym Darren Shan. The Saga of Darren Shan was adapted into a manga from 2006 to 2009 and a live-action film in 2009.
