In the fifth book of the Sundering series, Troy Denning introduces Kleef Kenric, an embittered paladin who follows the worship of a forgotten god. After the Sundering causes chaos across Faerûn, Kleef discovers he has been blessed by his god, making him part of a new group of Chosen. His divine powers make him both valuable and vulnerable.
