About “Prairie-Dog Town”
Prairie-Dog Town is a children's story by L. Frank Baum in which Twinkle and her friend Chubbins go on a picnic near a prairie dog village, where they are magically shrunk to prairie-dog size and invited into the village. Inside, they meet the mayor and a well-to-do family of prairie dogs before being restored to their normal size and questioning whether the adventure was real or a dream.
