Members of a Philadelphia aeronautics club, devoted believers in lighter-than-air flight, are confronted by a brash inventor named Robur who insists the future belongs to heavier-than-air machines. To prove his point, he abducts the skeptics aboard his remarkable propeller-driven airship, the Albatross.
