About “The Prophet”
The Prophet is a play set on a basketball court over three days. Five cousins, from different parts of the country and with distinct personalities, gather to unveil a headstone for their cousin Joshua, who died by suicide a year earlier. Joshua was known as a high achiever and was referred to as a prophet. The play is the third in a loose trilogy that includes Waiora and Home Fires.
